About
This year is my 25th year of teaching with 15 of those years teaching Kindergarten here at Odin, 7 years teaching 1st grade in Jacksonville, IL and the remaining 3 years teaching gifted students from 1st-8th in Marion County Schools. I attended Odin Grade and High School. After graduating, I attended Kaskaskia College and then transferred to Eastern Illinois University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in education. I have been married to my husband, John, for 37 years and we live in Salem. My husband is a Structural Engineer for WBK engineering. I have two children, Mark and Shelby. My son, Mark, also lives in Salem and is a Mechanical Engineer for Americana Building Products in Salem, IL. My daughter, Shelby, is an electrical engineer in St. Louis. I have really enjoyed teaching here at Odin! I wouldn't trade teaching here for any other school. I look forward to enjoying my last three years here, including this year, before I retire.
