​To help make a more speedy check-out, we have bar-coded all the books in the library and assigned each student a specific number that they will enter when they borrow a book from the library. A scanner is placed at my desk and each book will be listed in the inventory. All new books are now available through our new program.

We are also a part of the Illinois Heartland Library System which is the largest in North America. Library users have access to 80 million items through inter-library loan. Each student and staff member have been assigned a patron code to use for checkout.
