Mrs. Haarmann's

Hello! My name is Tippie Haarmann and I am a 4th-year teacher at Odin High School. I teach 9-12 English, SAT Prep, Creative Writing, and Publications.

 

I grew up in Buckner, an hour South of here, and went to Christopher High School, class of 2005. I graduated from SIUC May of 2015 with a degree in Secondary English Education and an endorsement in Middle School Literature. 

 

 

I am married to a wonderful man, Devin, and we have a 12-year-old daughter, Jaryn. We recently moved to Salem, where Jaryn will be going into the 7th grade. 

 

Things I love include Reading books/poetry/almost anything, Music (All types!), Going to the movies with my little person (Jaryn), Writing (poetry, blogs, etc.), Learning about new things, and Getting to know my students. 

 

I am a Student Council Advisor, Senior Class Sponsor, and Prom Committee Coordinator this year.
